Raymond at Pebble Beach Hole No. 7

Having been involved with sports all my life, from baseball, football, basketball, hockey to tennis,
I see no reason to stop now.Hence, Golf has become a passion second only to my Art and Family.
Playing golf with my brother at Pebble Beach is a once in lifetime experience I'll never forget.
This experience caused my art to evolve into discovering that painting golf scenes has become a wonderful addition to my portfolio.

7th at Pebble Beach

                                 The 7th at Pebble Beach
                                Oil on Panel,   11x14

It never fails. Any time I find myself perplexed about what subject I
should put my next painting effort into, I most often settle on a composition
of a scenic idea for a Pebble Beach Painting. So far I've sold every one.
Here's a nice little gem that could easily translate into a larger work.
By the way, while playing this 7th hole, I made par and my brother chipped
in for a birdie.

Humbug Mountain(Oregon)

                            Humbug Mountain (Oregon)
                             Oil on Panel            11x14

I'm constantly on the look out for challenging coastal scenes. It seems that wherever I travel
always turns into a research and referrence gathering expedition.
Here's another example of a small painting, one of many Oregon scenes depicted over the years.
The coast of Oregon is so varied and rugged in some spots. That's why so many artist are attracted there.

Happy St.Patrick's Day

                                      Gap of Dunloe
                                     Oil on Canvas   16x20
Here it is!! St. Patrick's has already arrived. It's amazing how time keeps speeding along. It feels like not long ago I was in Ireland searching for scenery material and ideas for new paintings. Ten years have passed and I'm still generating paintings of Ireland's beautiful landscapes. There's just something about the ever changing views I experienced that keeps me connected. This painting of the "Gap of Dunloe" is one such spot everyone finds so intruiging.
